PGP with sendmail.
Historical software. These are 1990s versions of PGP (2.x and 5.0) and tools for them, kept unchanged for history and research. They use old algorithms (RSA keys of 1024 bits or less, IDEA, MD5) and must not be used to protect anything today. For real use, install GnuPG.

ftp://ftp.pgp.net/pub/pgp/utils/sendmail/ ftp://ftp.pgp.net/pub/pgp/utils/sendmail/ Interposing PGP between mailers and sendmail on Unix. PGPsendmail-v1.4.3.tar.gz Version 1.4.3 of Richard Gooch's set of daemons which give almost transparent PGP integration with mailers on Unix boxes which use sendmail as their transfer agent. PGPsendmail replaces the real sendmail with a daemon to handle encryption of outgoing mail and then hands on the result to the real sendmail daemon. Included is a daemon to deal with automatic decryption and signing of mail, if you trust a daemon with your PGP passphrase. PGPsendmail-v1.4.3.tar.gz.sig The author's PGP signature for the above file. Comments, etc to ftpmaster@mail.pgp.net. Back to parent
