Historical software. These are 1990s versions of PGP (2.x and 5.0) and tools for them, kept unchanged for history and research. They use old algorithms (RSA keys of 1024 bits or less, IDEA, MD5) and must not be used to protect anything today. For real use, install GnuPG.

Cryptographic hashes using MD5

MD5sum.tar.gz

MD5 hashes of files.  This code was originally distributed as part of
PGP but was later stripped out and supplied separately.  The connection
with PGP is tenuous but it's here for historical reasons.
